Passion

I have over two decades of writing experience, including tabletop gaming & interactive fiction, a novel, collaborative storytelling, and video games. During that time I’ve covered multiple genres, with particular appreciations for fantasy, historical fiction, and science fiction.
There’s also a certain magic in collaborating with other writers, whether for singular projects, or across multiple iterations or ongoing narratives. Exploring different approaches to writing, be it constructing stories out of whole cloth, working from writing prompts, or inspired by other works and universes, has given me a more dynamic appreciation for the art of language.

Experience

I was a lore consultant and world builder for Lore Gaming Company, directly under Troye Gerard, writing mythologies, fleshing out deities and pantheons, and writing the various creation myths of multiple cultures, as well as designing races, nation states, and histories.
I’ve written several multi-year tabletop gaming campaigns, with the most recent one approaching six years of weekly sessions. The majority of campaigns were personal creations. The aforementioned current campaign features a complete world history, pantheons, in-game backstories and texts, political systems and nations, and several branching grand adventures with countless side quests in an open-flowing story told with four other participants, and occasional guest players.
Most recently, I’ve joined the Skywind team, working to bring The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind to new life and new audiences in the Skyrim SE engine. As a member of the writing department I provide lore guidance and encyclopedic knowledge to the rest of the team, and I’ve also taken over the Main Quest Overhaul project, contributed to multiple other areas of the game, gotten some experience with script writing for animations, and some other fun Skywind projects I can’t quite talk about yet!
