The Collection – More Detail!

And here we go! The Collection is basically properly assembled, and now I can break things down into some degree of detail. I’ll do one more post where I open up the various storage boxes and go into what’s inside, but for now:

Here’s the collection! Down at the bottom you can see my DM bag on the right, and my work bag on the left. I got the coin case and bobblehead display put up, and tacked up my UESP 2022 Calendar above to finish the space. On the right is my bookshelf with Way Too Many Gaming Books (R) on it.

All the pins on my DM bag! I’ve got almost everything represented there. Could use a UT logo or something to finish it out, but I like it.

First, the coin case, now that it’s mounted. From top to bottom, left to right:

Top Row: Assassin’s Creed Unity Coin; Doom series: Baron of Hell Medallion, UAC Red Keycard, Doom (2016) Coin, BFG Token.
Second Row: Sentinel Coin, Praetor Token; TES series: UESP “Let Lore Be Your Armor” coin, Skyrim Septim Coin, Oblivion CE Septim Coin, Ouroboros Challenge Coin, Ouroboros Currency Coin, Thieves’ Guild Coin, Year of the Dragon Coin, Necromancer Coin.
Third Row: Dragonguard Coin, Vampire Lord Coin, the Four Ambitions Coins (and, hidden behind them, the Ambitions Artifacts, disassembled.)
Fourth Row: Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, and Greymoor coins, and the start of Fallout: the Platinum Chip
Final Row: Vault-Tec Coin, Nuka-Cade Token; Hitman Coin, Smash Bros. Coin, Zelda coin, BotW Traveler Shield Coin, and finally, a Mysterious Package Company Challenge Coin.

Wow! Okay, I’m done now… except I’ve got a lot more to cover. Moving on!

I’ll try to go front -> back, left -> right as best as possible, if there’s any confusion or lack of clarity on something, let me know.

Here we have Guan Yu (Total War: Three Kingdoms) and the Horn of Ja’darri (ESO), then the God Splitter Daemon Hammer (Dawn of War III), the massive Dwemer Colossus (ESO), with the Kushan Mothership (Homeworld: Remastered) next to Bayek (Assassin’s Creed: Origins), with Eivor and Alexios (AC: Valhalla and Odyssey, respectively) to finish things out.

Above those is some miscellany: a Mega Man helmet, the Nomad (Mass Effect: Andromeda), an alchemy jar (personal), and Adam Jensen (Deus Ex: Mankind Divided) lurking in the back. In the front again, we’ve got a tiny painted red vase (personal, BUT, it always reminded me of Magic Carpet), some Zelda Rupees, a Triforce Plushie, a Zelda Treasure Chest, the Three Kingdoms CE box, the Ocarina of Time (resting on some Gringots coins), the Dragon Age: Inquisition War Map castle, a Zelda Rupee Light, and some laser cut wood blocks of sci-fi tropes.

This one’s simple — the Borderlands 3 Diamond Loot Crate. Contents to be shared in a later post!

In the front are all of the Steelbooks I kept; behind them are some CDs I kept, and on top of them, a wand, the Ouroboros Book Ends, and behind THAT, the Command & Conquer: Remastered Collection from Limited Run Games. On the right hand side of the shelf, there’s the Homeworld: Remastered box*, the Total War: Rome II box*, a random Legend of Zelda Stationary Set box*, and a copy of Inferno.
*All also with “contents to be shared later” inside!

I’ve actually got two of those fusion core batteries — they’re actually surprisingly good for portable power! I make sure to keep them charged in case of emergency. Behind that is the Mini-Nuke for the Fallout Collection, and tucked behind that is the Pip-Boy 2000 Mk VI kit. I’m saving that for when I can build it with my daughter. On top of that box is the full collection of the ESO Adagio Teas; I kept the tins because of the fantastic art by the incredible talented Ilona that adorns each one. Back up front, we have a Vault Boy Bobblehead, a T-60 statue, and tucked in the back beside the Pip-Boy is a collection of Nuka-Cola Caps. Immediately to the right of those in front of the Word Wall is a Daedric Armored Warrior from Skyrim, and then, of course, the Word Wall with Alduin from the Skyrim CE. In front of the three pewter figures is a Daedric Sword letter opener. From left to right, the pewter minis are an Ordinator (TES3 CE), a Tesla Trooper (C&C:RA2 CE), and a Pinky Demon (Doom CD CE). Then we’ve got the Doom Slayer and the Terror Billy action figure from the Wolfenstein II CE.

Skipping up a little, my (mostly) villain shelf: the Panzerhund (Wolfenstein: The New Order CE) is in the vanguard in front of Geralt and the Griffin (The Witcher III: Wild Hunt). Lurking in the shadows is the 47 Rubber Ducky (Hitman II), probably acting in service to the Marcus Bobblehead (Borderlands 2). You might wonder what he’s doing up on this shelf, and let me tell you — if you think an amoral arms dealer and conflict profiteer is a good guy… well, let’s just say that money is the root of a lot of evil.
In front of them is a Big Daddy (Bioshock), and I’m one of the fortunate few that managed to get the original CE without any breakage on the statue. On the pedestal in the back is a gruesome Revenant (Doom 2016), then we have Darth Malgus (Star Wars: The Old Republic), with The King In Yellow (Mysterious Package Company) overlooking everything.

Going up top, we’ve got a Mutavore kaiju from Pacific Rim — I used that as the “to scale” figure of a Tarrasque for our D&D game. Then we have the Pip-Boy from Fallout 4, and the Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s statue.

Some Legos — the Mandalorian, Boba Fett’s Helmet, and The Child / Grogu. The Divinity: Original Sin 2 CE is peaking out from behind Corvo’s mask (Dishonored 2), next to Spike (Cowboy Bebop).

Finishing up my masks and helmets, we’ve got the Doom Slayer Helmet (Doom Eternal) and a T-51 Power Armor Helmet (Fallout 76).

Jumping back down — here’s the collection of (non-steelbook) games I’ve kept — Unreal Tournament up top in front of the Heroes Compendium and the Hitman 2 CE case*. On the right hand side of the top shelf, there’s the Diablo 3 CE insert box for the Diablo Skull Flash Drive*, Doom Collector’s Edition, Half-Life 2 CE, and my Heroes II and III discs.
Next shelf down is obviously The Elder Scrolls games, and Heroes II as well.
*More hidden treasures to be revealed in my next post!

The grand finale! My Elder Scrolls shelf.

So here we’ve got: a Gray Reliquary, the Wrathstone, Shrines to the Nine Divines, Molag Bal, Alduin, Mephala, a Vampire Lord, and Mehrunes Dagon. Tucked behind the Shrines are four relics from MPC, the only non-TES content on the shelf. In the middle, going left to right, I’ve got the original ESO leather keychain tag, an amazing St. Nerevar keychain from the legendary Lady N, and the UESP supporter keychain tag.

So that, as they say, is that! A shelf-by-shelf breakdown of everything in my collection, minus the internal contents of some of the boxes. I’ll try to do another post for those soon!
